Drove up to Glasgow and headed out towards Largs. After arriving at Largs we got the ferry across the water to a small island called Cumbrae. During the day we carried out 2 dives, the first of which is shown here. The site is a wrecked Catalina flying boat which sank when someone left a hatch open one night in a swell. The wreck is covered in crabs, lobsters and a plethora of different soft corals. The current when we dived it was hardly evident. A torch is definitely compulsory equipment for this dive! |
